Weekend outings

Since we've had Barnes, I've tried to keep life semi-normal for the kids. We hang out in our room or the bonus room more if Barnes is sleeping (his room is kind of off the family room) and we have to use our inside voice a bit more than normal. But I've tried to keep up the activities and live life like we always have. This can be tricky with 2 small children and a newborn... Especially when your hubby is into doing more things around the house than actually getting out. I'm not sure, but taking all these wild animals out stresses him. I, on the other hand, can get stir crazy up in here and like to go do fun things.
And Barnes agrees with me.

One day after school pickup, he was sleeping so soundly in his car seat, so I stuck him in his crib. He's not the sounded sleeper in the seat when the cars not moving.

A few weeks ago, the junior league of Jackson hosted the 2nd annual touch a truck at trustmark part. It was a great time! I had to be there super early that morning for my shift. So daddy got to spend some quality alone time with Barnes.

The next day, we took the kids. It really is a great activities for small kids. Mine definitely loved it! And, of course, a JLJ function is always going to be so fun and well organized!

We got to see our Kaykay!

Also that weekend, my parents took Hudson to the circus. He had a blast and Kiki bought him all of those ridiculously expensive toys that they sell... She's the best! Can't wait for Sissy to join them next year! But sad they are phasing out the elephants. That's Hudson's favorite part. (But it also makes me sad that they are there. They need to be in a jungle somewhere).

Meanwhile, Barnes (sometimes I call him BT) just hangs out with his sweet cheeks.

Last weekend, we headed to the children's museum for Williams birthday party. Since that place can get OOC, I left Sissy at home. I can't handle her sassy self alone in such a big area.
Please look at Barnes' face.
Mommy and her boys!

Love these sweet friends so much!! They have kept me sane these last few weeks!

On Sunday, we headed to weekly lunch at our neighbors house who also happen to be Kiki and Papa. Ha! Barnes and Bubba catching some sleep!
