stalking does work

hey there bloggers. just wanted to give a quick update on our life as lindleys:

1. Joey got a new job!!! This is something we have been praying about for along time! He put in his two weeks notice at bcbs yesterday! Yeh josie! I love you and so happy I married such a hard worker!!!

2. Stalking DOES work. I have been stalking this hospital (we'll call it "great hospital") for MONTHS. Literally stalking. There have been emails, phone calls, and 3 interviews. And last friday, they called me and offered me a job! I have had other job offers, but this is the "great hospital" that I have always wanted to work for.

3. We are moving into the house THIS weekend. and here is a sneak peak of our new home

4. Our best friends Tyler and Carly got married this weekend....such a fun wedding. and such a FUN couple. we are so lucky to have them in our life. Here is Tara Pattie and I with the beautiful bride!

decisions, decisions

So, blog followers (all 5 of you), I think this move is actually going to happen!! I really want to squeel with joy, but I will hold off on that. We start moving boxes next weekend (and yet still no boxes to be packed). There is still so much to be done, and so much to be purchased for our new home. The very top of our list is a refridgerator...and this is what we have in mind






I have my heart set on this...and I even got joey to jump on the bandwagon. Has anyone heard if these bottom freezers are good? I've done some research and they seem to have good reviews. I am so sick of my side by side, and this one seems to be the answer to my space needs. As you know, I like to eat. ALOT. And it so happens that I married a man that likes to eat, too. So more space= more food :)

We also need a dining room table, since the new home has a formal dining room. I have picked one out at Miskellys, but the fridge is our number one priority now. But I do loooovve the table I picked, it fits with our contemporary theme.


Anyways, just keeping you updated. I will post some pictures of the house when I know for sure that the deal is going through (AKA, after we close on June 30th)


PS, so I was taking a shower this morning and I was scared to death by an "intruder" in my shower. Have no fear, it was Riley (my lab pup). She is so fascinated with water and the shower. Once I got over my shock of the "intruder," all I could do was laugh bc she was so funny and wet! I live in a movie, and that movie is called Marley and Me.

check, check, and check...

Good news on the home front:
found a house that we loved (check), made an offer (check), seller accepted offer (check), met the nice neighbors (check), home inspection (check-with some home repairs to be made)....so we are marking things off our list. our tentative closing date is JUNE 30th. Yikes!!! it is so close. we haven't even begun to pack the house up...and that will be quite a feat. we are still praying that everything stays on the right path!
Working on this house is presently consuming my life...hope it pays off in the end.

annoying

Buying a house is very annoying and frustrating...contigencies, appraisals, inspections, yada yada yada. we are keeping our fingers crossed that this one works out :)

ps, joey is gone on a bachelor party all weekend..he left today. so i will miss him this weekend, but i will get to spend some much needed time with my ladies! yeh!
