back to 9th grade...

Hey. So I am blogging at work. Yikes! Shouldn't I be working? But I just wanted to share that "great hospital" gave me a laptop for work, and they gave me something else.... a PAGER (or beeper, as I like to call it). Let me just tell you, I had a pager in the 9th grade. With a cell phone. Why you need both, who knows. I will blame that on Frank and Trish for getting me both. But in the world of pagers, not much has changed. I think mine back then looked the same as the one I have now...and scary enough, I am just as fascinated with it now as I was back then :) And it makes me feel important, even though as being a rookie PT, I'm obviously not. So now I can say fun stuff like "Page me" or "I just got a page." Yeah, I'm a dork.

brief synopsis

A few quick updates on our life:
1. we still love our new house and the pups have so much room to run around
2. Joey loves his new job.
3. I love my new job at "great hospital"
4. studying has taken over my life (i don't even have time to do my normal wifely duties like cooking and cleaning...since I did so much of this to begin with -insert sarcasm)
5. I promised my mom that I would put decoracting the new house on hold until after my boards. (thanks trish)

To summarize, I am not fun and live with a constant knot in my stomach. I heart you, PT Boards.

We're In!

We moved in the house! We spent our first night in it on tuesday. Since then, we have just been unpacking many boxes and opening the door alot for furniture/appliance deliveries. I will post pictures once we get the house in order.

I'd like to give a special thanks to my parents (Frank and Trish), my brother Brett, and Uncle Jesse and Nanny for helping us move in. We couldn't have done it without you. I did ask joey this: "on a scale of 1 to 10, how much did I help?" His response, "0.5" I am just not the moving type...I like to be the one that tells everyone where to put the boxes and such. I help in my own special way.

On a side note, both Joey and I are starting our new jobs on Monday....and are both very excited!

Hope everyone has a great July 4th weekend. And be careful with the fireworks. I don't want to see any of you in the hospital bc you blew your hand off trying to light one of those things :)
