November catch up

After the big birthday party and fall/halloween in October, we went full speed ahead into November.

We started out the month with Mistletoe week, our big Junior League event of the year. And, of course, Joey had a big OR conference in PA that entire week. So thankful for my mom, as she was able to help with the kiddies while I did my shifts and went to the gala.

Since Joey was out of town, Lexie was my hot date for the Gala. And let me tell you, we had a blast!
Kayla and Seth even let us crash their gala date night.
As always, the decor was amazing and the food and drink was so yummy!
My crispy date!
Sweet Seth with his ladies.
Confession: I got alittle wasted tipsy and couldn't focus to shop.
Don't hate, I don't get much time away from the kids.
Whenever me and Lex get together, I swear we just laugh and laugh. Love her big!
Such a fun night! But just like cinderella, the clock strikes midnight (10 pm) and it was time to go home. And you can count on your besties Jamie and Katie for coming to pick up a wasted tipsy mommy in a cocktail dress and spray tan.

Moving on, look how cute these babies are in their fall smocked!
Sweet Sissy and B. These two seriously love eachother!
And for Thanksgiving (or the week before), I got a new sister!
Brett proposed to Meredith and she said YES! She is the sweetest thing and I can not wait for her to join our family!
Birthday besties Barnes and Ford got to play
Hudson's Thanksgiving program at school. The cutest thing ever!

They had been practicing so hard for weeks and weeks. I already knew every song by heart.
Please look at this cute pilgrim.

Daddy even got to come! He was entertaining Lillian and Walt
Kiki and Hudson
So thankful for this sweet school and our family!
Not pictured: Lillian running around like a crazy person
Hudson loves his teacher, Mrs. Brooks.
By this time, he was over pictures!

Up next, Jamie's birthday at Caet Small Plates.
Yummy (and small) food! Wonderful fellowship!
The ladies of Silent Janitor: Jamie, Katie and me
Love them BIG BIG!
This is Barnes' face when he doesn't want something. So funny!
Thanksgiving in Mccomb. All the Lindley cousins!
A fun Sunday for my big boy- He got to ride a pony and his first movie!
We saw The Good Dinosaur
I think he ate an entire bucket of popcorn
Loving his life.
And when he was ready to go (about an hour into the movie), he politely said "Lets go home now please" Sweet boy! Its amazing how different (and much more calm) he acts when we have solo time with him.
Barnes did NOT like getting on all fours.

That about sums up our November.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Barnes at EIGHT and NINE months

Here we are on NYE 2015 and I'm trying to catch up.
I am so late on the Baby Barnes updates, so I'm going to combine eight and nine months.

This child has developed such a fun and cute personality. We've started to figure out what he likes and doesn't like, and he started to figure out how to tell us the same. He is seriously the sweetest thing! And his smile will literally melt your heart!

Things at Barnes at EIGHT and NINE months:
- Still nursing. As of about 3 days ago, we are officially on a four hour schedule. He nurses at 8 am, 12, 4 and 7 pm (bedtime). He wakes up 5:00 am to eat and goes back to sleep. That child does not want to drop that 5 am feeding...I figure he'll eventually drop it (or hoping so). Loves to eat! Each meal, he usually has a veggie and a fruit. Still making his food, but we are moving away from the pureed foods.
- I think he weighs about 21 lbs. He's actually thinning up...or growing longer.
- This babywise mommy is still trying to get her baby on babywise sleeping. Sometimes he will sleep through the night. And sometimes he doesn't. But I've just learned to not go in there. He will go back to sleep. Napping 2 big naps a day and one baby catnap around 4 pm. I've learned that the rest of the day goes much smoother if he can get in a few winks during that nap.
- Still wearing 12 months clothing and size 4 diapers. But if there is an 18 mths of Hudson's then I will throw that on him. He ain't scared.
- As of a few days ago, he's so close to crawling he can smell it. He will get on all fours and rock, and initiate the forward position but then fall on his belly. So so close! I don't know if I am ready for the crawling or not. But he still prefers to be held. That's his happy place.
- He loves watching his brother and sissy play...he kicks his feet so fast, like he's trying to catch them. He loves his new light up toys that Santa brought him, puffs and cheerios, applesauce, green peas, mommy holding him, his daddy, and watching the pups.
- His hair is coming in blonde and I couldn't love it more. Both Hudson and Sissy have great hair, and I'm hoping the trend continues with him.

God love this sweet angel boy! I never imagined a third child, but now, I could never imagine a life without our third baby Barnes. Mommy's sweet baby boy!
