Santa, I know him!

The fabulous Jana Rodrigues set up a Santa session this year. Nothing against a mall Santa, but this is seriously the way to go. You have 15-20 minutes with him and it gives the babies time to warm up to him. I knew Hudson would do great because we'd been talking about Santa a lot. But Lillian was either going to be hit or miss. And she did pretty good. She was alittle apprehensive, but definitely didn't freak out.
I thought the pictures turned out great, and I love displaying all their Santa pictures throughout the year.
Those matching plaid outfits made my heart smile!

This year was the first year that Hudson (kind of ) understood "Santa's watching you" and we definitely pulled that saying out to our advantage. Actually it was more like "Do you want Santa to bring you a choo choo train?" Mother of the year, right here!

Fall family pictures and SURPRISE!

The first weekend in November (same weekend as Lillian's birthday party), we took some family pictures. I get professional pictures done of our family several times a year whether its with mini sessions or just a full family session. I love to have lots of photos of the family, but I'm learning that I don't have unlimited space to display all of them.
Jamie told me about Tricia Butts (of Starkville) coming to Jackson for a fall mini and we jumped on it! And she did not disappoint! LOVE all of them.
We had just trick-or-treated the night before, and Hudson was in quite the mood over his candy. Plus, he wanted to carry around his bucket everywhere. Our session lasted about 20 minutes and I'm pretty sure he cried the whole time. I was so worried we wouldn't get a good shot, but she managed to get some amazing ones! Of course, Lillian was being her ham, smiling self.

Sweet Sissy. 12 months and 2 weeks exactly

Love our family shots!
And loving Hudson's invisible tears...because they are there!

This one will be a big print in our house soon!

And, we wanted to get a few extra shots with blue balloons.....
The Lindleys will be adding a BABY BROTHER in March!
We are so so excited about our bonusbabybarnes!
(He gets a whole post to himself next)

At the time of these pictures, only close family and friends knew we were expecting. But I wanted these pictures as our big announcement on social media. I don't know why it was kept quiet for so long, but it was kind of like our fun, little secret and we wanted to wait until after Sissy's birthday to make the big announcement

So, our big brother Hudson and middle princess Lillian will get their little worlds rocked come March...hopefully in a good way!

Love this one! I ordered this on a canvas for Barnes' nursery

Thanks Tricia Butts for the amazing photos!

October and November randoms

So these have been hanging out in my phone since October. I seriously need to do a major clean out of iphone photos. I think I've met my capacity and I'm not quite sure how to save them on my computer.

Broadmoor Fall Fest with Jess and Carson. We had a big kid date and left the little sisters at home. So thankful for my BFF that has children so close to my children!

Three year old check up for Hudson and one year check up for Sissy.
Its just easier to get them together.
Hudson was excited he didn't have to get nakey!
This was back in November when it was miserably hot...and all our summer close are fitting alittle too snug.
Papa walked from his back yard to ours...a whopping 100 yards.
Fun dinner with my old UMC co-workers. I love staying home with my babies, but I sure do miss this group of women!
Sissy went through a small phase where she didn't want to nap in her crib...but she would snooze away on me. I'll take it.
And she loves the minnie mouses.

Matching PJ days are so much fun! We have them often.

Got these proofs back from Halloween at Hudson's school. Have you seen anything cuter? I ordered three to frame. I die over bottom middle.
Sissy stayed true maroon, even when it gave her anxiety towards the end of the season!
This child. She is ROUGH! She tackles Hudson to the ground. And he just looks at me with this sad look on his face....he knows he can't push her off, but sometimes does just because she's being so crazy!
Thankful for a soft, shag wrestling mat aka living room rug.

Iphone birthday pictures

I am desperately trying to get the blog updated before the end of the year. I think I can, I think I can....
Here are some stray iphone pictures from the babies' birthday parties. Too cute not to share!

Goodness, I love these babies!

My first heart turns three

Hudson and Adda Laine at Lillian's birthday party. These two have literally grown up together and love to play!

And Sissy just loves to eat. Bottom line!

Lillian's FIRST birthday party

The first weekend in November, we celebrated Lilllian's FIRST birthday party. Her actual birthday is October 16, but we just moved into the house like 2 weeks before that and I just couldn't get it "friends and family" ready for a party that fast. Plus I was really tired...more on that later.

I knew I wanted to do something sweet and dainty for her first birthday. And, of course, it had to include her signature colors: blush and bashful. I found this shop on Etsy that could do exactly what I wanted, and we ran with it. I really hope she always loves pink. I've loved it since I was little, and still do to this day.
We had a wonderful afternoon party with cake and a few other pink treats! It was a great day with family and friends. And it also helps that our huge backyard can also be used as a toddler amusement park. We had every outdoor entertainment we could find!

Sweet birthday Sissy

Her outside spread. Funny story about those balloons: I sent Joey to party city that morning to get some baby pink balloons. I've seen them there before, they do exist. And he comes home with 14 (I requested 15) hot pink balloons that totally didn't match. Lesson learned- don't send an apparently color blind daddy to get balloons.
But I'm trying to let the small stuff slide these days!

Her beautiful cake! The same lady that made Hudson's cake did hers.

Other treats included pink and white yogurt covered pretzels and pink dyed pop corn (that was fun to make)

The big kids loved the trampoline

Some of my sweet friends that came to the party
Tara, Jamie, Katie and Kelly

The only picture I could get of Sissy and Hudson together.
Those tots are busy bodies!

When Bubba arrived, all was right in Lillian's world.

I could just die over this picture of Adda Laine and Hudson

Smash cake time!

She LOVED it!

Lillian Lindley, you are the sweetest Sissy around. Always smiling and happy, you are the perfect addition to our family. Each month with you gets better and better. And now that you are running around, you and Hudson are having the best time! Happy Happy birthday to our angel baby!
