Fun in the sun!

We've been spending lots of time outside. Every day after nap time, Hudson screams at the door and pulls on the handle. Yes, he is tall enough for the handle but no, he doesn't know how to turn the knob yet. Thank goodness!

Sometimes, we do naked pool days. That booty is just too presh!

On Sunday, we went swimming at lake Caroline with Jessica and Carson. Those kids dominated the kiddie pool.

Yesterday, me and Heather the kiddos to Philadelphia to geyser falls. Man, was this a good decision!

Although there isn't too much for babies to do, it was just enough to wear them out!
Hudson LOVES a fountain.... This kept him entertained for atleast an hour.

What you can't tell from the splash pad pics, is that water is literally coming from every direction. It was slightly overwhelming... Even for me.

And we really liked the beach too!

The babies we missing nap time!

Hudson loved the slide too. He went down that thing about 50 times. And they had a lifeguard at each station that would catch them. I thought that was nice.

Heather and Claire (and Catherine in the belly)

I definitely think we will be getting a season pass! That backyard pool is hard to go back to after all these fun big pools.
I am so excited about spending this summer with Hudson. He is at such a fun age and he loves the water... Or the "pooooooooooo (silent L)"

Harlan is here!

Harlan Elizabeth Craig is here!!!
Born on May 20th, 2013
6lbs 11oz 20 inches long

And just the cutest little thing ever!
Me and the wild child got to visit Liz in the hospital. She looked more like she just went running rather than push out a child 24 hours before. She's a rockstar!

And because she had a little accident before she delivered, Liz had to wear a "fall precautions" bracelet. Too funny!

They are now at home and settling in to life with a newborn.... The hardest and best times ever!

Love you Craig family, party of three!

The beach two

As promised, the rest of my beach pictures via iPhone.
I swear I will be better about using my big camera again one day!
I promised myself I wouldn't turn on Mickey in the car until atleast Hattiesburg. We made it that far and then we needed Mickey!

My handsome little boy!

He loved floating in the lazy river!

And while we got ready, he liked to play in the bathtub. Empty. While eating a cracker. Whatever works!

And then it happened. We still don't know if it was something I ate or what, but Wednesday my tummy didn't feel well. And by Wednesday night, I had puked exorcist style. But it was more like a "puke and rally" situation, because I felt like a new woman after.
This was the next morning while daddy played golf with papa frank. I feel pretty!

But we made it to the outlet mall that afternoon.

So hood!

And Hudson went down the slide with Joey! Only a mini heart attack was had by me.

Post slide smiles

And lastly on the way home. I'm pretty sure he knows when we are traveling home. He doesn't act half as nice as on the drive up. What is that?
Many thanks to Jess and Carson for letting us borrow Mickey DVD. Ours didn't make it via amazon in time for the trip. We literally couldn't have survived the ride without it!

What is not pictured are the family photos we took. Yes, we hired a beach photographer to take our "white" pictures. These were the same couple that did me and joey's engagement pictures one summer. They are wonderful! And we can't wait to see how they turned out. But, Frank decided to be hard-headed and not want to wear his khaki shorts. His words, "I don't like it when people tell me what to wear". Really? So he looked like a weirdo wearing dark shorts and the rest of us were in white or khaki. But he finally told us at the end of the trip that he packed his khakis the whole time, that he was trying to prove a point. The man is 64 and apparently has an authority problem. Ha!

And Hudson the day after we got back. In his polo gear. Probably pissed that we weren't at the beach.

Beach 2013

We just got back from a week in Orange Beach with my family. Man, did we have fun!
Hudson literally slept in a dark closet, so this year's trip was much more relaxing than the last.
But lets be honest, how truly relaxing can it be with a 19 month old who can't sit still for 2 seconds? Thank the Lord for Kiki and Papa Frank (and Brett and Emily) for giving mommy and daddy a break!

Most of these pictures are pretty self explanatory, so I won't write a lot since there are so many pictures. I am feeling rather chubby these days, so I tried to stay out of as many as possible.

Sweet boy was excited to finally be at the condo!

Love this picture of my mom and Hudson!

I thought these pictures of daddy and Hudson were so sweet....just forget about the ug cut-off tee Joey loves to wear!

He LOVED the "fountain" in the kiddie pool

Hudson loved the seagulls. The people next to us were feeding them Cheetos, so they were flocked around us. When they were flying, Hudson called them "birrrrrds" but when they were jumping on the ground, he called them "puuuuppp-ies" So funny!!!

Emily and Brett

We kept a beach hat and sun shirt on our fair skinned boy most of the time. He definitely inherited his daddy's skin tones.

And please notice his bulldog swim trunks. We even support the dawgs at the beach!
Thanks Morgan for the swimmies!

We loved being there! I miss it already and we plan to go back at the end of summer for a weekend getaway!

Papa Frank loved when it was time to go. That home body.
Kiki loved the seafood and the outlet mall.
Bubba and Emily loved to love on eachother. Ah, the wonders of being a fairly new couple.
Joey loved to eat out and be away from work for a whole week.
Me, I loved laying in the sun. And getting a tan.
Hudson loved playing in the sand, especially when we took his beach shoes off. And the baby pool.  He also loved wearing all his summer bubbles that were purchased before I knew I didn't like him in bubbles anymore.

These pictures were taken with my mommy camera. Mostly on auto. Next post will be the grainy iphone pictures.

Happy weekend!
