Friend time

We've been kinda sickie at the Lindley household. Hudson just can't catch a break!

Maybe now that I'm home with him, he won't get sick so much. Here's hoping!

Yesterday, we were getting stir crazy in the house, so Jess invited us to come and play. Carson and Hudson are finally at the age where they can interact.... And it's so fun to watch them play together.

Valet service at the Shive's house.

So cute!

So thankful for sweet mommy friends!

We are excited to watch the egg bowl tonight! Go dawgs!

Fun-ness

Wow! This weekend was a fun one!

It started out on Thursday night seeing Breaking Dawn Part II.
I got in the mood all day while listening to the soundtrack...I always like listening to the songs before the movie so I can recognize them. Call me a crazyfan dork, but I like it!

And the movie did not disappoint. Every one that was in that showing had obviously read the books, so people were going crazy at the end! Like yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs kinda crazy. And I might have been one of them. That ending was insanity!

My BFF Kristen did a great job! Definitely less figetty.

My work BFF.
So sad we don't have anymore of these movies to see anymore :(

I have to admit, I'm one of those losers emotional people that is truly sad this franchise is over. I have read all the books (numerous times), see and own all the movies and the soundtracks, and I may have had the Twilight poster in my old office. Maybe.
But I do think its sad.

Moving on, we had story time at the Museum of Art in Jackson with our friends Kelli and Kate.
Hudson was in full blown jerk mode and wanted to do things only his way that day.
And yes, I did call him a jerk. He was being one. But I don't call him that to his face, only behind his back.

The chair sparked his interests.

He loves to climb under things these days.
And he's so smart, he will duck his head at the right time.
Bless him, he's gifted at such a young age :)

On Saturday, we headed to Disney on Ice with Heather and Claire Beacom
Hudson enjoyed some of it, but I think it will be able to hold his attention better next year!

Look at that sweet boy. He had to wear his deer smocked in celebration of opening weekend.
Daddy was proud

Love this mommy and her sweet girl!

The Lion King...my favorite!

While the girls were enjoying Simba and other Disney characters, Hudson Lindley was passed smooth out! He slept for an hour with all that loud noise.
When he's had enough, he's had enough!

Saturday night, I convinced sweet Josie to take me to the movies.
And what did he we want to see....you guessed it, Breaking Dawn! And the Beacoms decided they needed to come and check it out, too! I am happy to report that both husbands thoroughly enjoyed the it, and I got to spend another 2 hours dissecting the movie.
I even got to see a blog friend, Claire. It's always nice to see real-life faces and not just the screen face! What did you think of the movie?

Maybe I can get brother bear to go see it with me one last time? Or I am not above going by myself....

Sunday was spent at sweet Emma McElroy's first birthday party. I totally forgot to take pictures, but just know that it was such a sweet and cute party!
(Even though Hudson was yet again in jerk-mode...am I seeing a pattern?)

This week will be filled with spending time with family and friends!
I am still pinching myself that I get all this extra time with Hudson...it really hasn't sunk in quite yet.
Happy Thanksgiving week!

Slacking...

I have been blog slacking lately. With leaving the hospital and settling into my new gig, things have been kinda crazy.

This week was my first week working one day a week and being home with Hudson. I don't think it's hit me yet, but I'm loving my time with him. We went to interactive story time yesterday at the library and plan to meet some mothers for craft time tomorrow. I'm trying to keep Hudson stimulated as much as I can.

Before I left work, my fabulous co-workers threw me a going away lunch. Man, do I love my department. If I could put them in my pocket to come home with me, I would!! And sweet Alyssa did so much to make me feel special.
My favorite: Sams cake

Our first day at home. My child doesn't care if its 37 degrees outside. He wants you to find a way!

My little turkey hanging out in the makeshift playroom

Running FULL speed these days!

And tonight, I am putting the mommy hat up and turning into a hardcore Twilight fan.
Me and Alyssa are going to the 10pm showing of Breaking Dawn. So excited!!

Had to get my nails ready for the big occasion!

So, I was trying to update my iphone on Tuesday, and I lost EVERYTHING. After several hours and a trip to the apple store, I was able to find my contacts, but no pictures. Good thing I update this thing, send everyone I know obnoxious amounts of pictures, and always carry my mommy camera around. Technology can really suck sometimes.

Sidenote: Sorry for the boring-ness that is this blog. All baby, no action. I thought it would get better with time, but it hasn't. Sorry! But I will be excited when I have these memories via blogbook in the future. Can anyone say embarrassing rush or rehearsal dinner pictures?

This weekend is the dreaded opening hunting weekend. Blah Blah Blah...We will be spending our weekend at Disney on Ice and snuggling. Beat that, you deer!

Starkville

We headed to Vegas early on Saturday morning to watch our Bulldogs!
And to tailgate with my favorite Phi Mu ladies!

We rode up with the Jonathan and Heather, and we have so much fun with those two!
I think because our marital relationships are so much alike, we just laugh alot!

And we ran into Brett Zito. He's still real cute and still real single....ladies (or one lady) snatch him up while you can!
I love spending brotherly time together

Joey, Lane and Ty

My bestie, Jamie
#phimulady

All our sweet friends at the tailgate
sorry for the blur-ness

Love me some Kelly!

My super hot date for the day. I love getting to spend sober adult time with him!

Me and bird

Sweet brother in laws. They were matching in there shirts...

The gameday was fun, but the game was not. Our puppies just couldn't pull it together!
But, I had an absolute blast with all my sweet sorority sisters. I love that we don't even skip a beat...even if we haven't seen eachother in awhile. I guess that the sign of true (and lifelong) friends!

And,  since the game was early, we were home by 6:30 to tuck this little boy in!

Look at him with his big boy haircut! He's 13 months going on 16 years old with that hair.
I might be giving him biotin pills to grow that blondeness back out...kidding!
But no more haircuts for awhile!

And lesson learned:
Bloodies and Kentucky T starting at 10am and continuing throughout the day, means a rough and unproductive Sunday. I think my lush days are officially over!

It's my last week of work!
Happy Tuesday!

Halloween 2012

We had so much fun on Halloween!
Of course, our little pumpkin had NO idea what was going on, but he was a fairly good sport.

We had to go by Papa Frank's house.
Kiki missed all the action while she was cruising in the Bahamas

I absolutely LOVE this picture of my dad and Hudson

And the stalk hat didn't make it long...but Hudson did love to grab the candy from the bowl.

He says "Mom, I'm a jack-o-lantern"

Look at this sweet angel pumpkin bones!

Trying to get his loot in his pumpkin bag!

Next, we met up with the Beacoms and the Broussards!

Hudson loves tinkerbell and peter pan. And it is extremely difficult to get a decent picture of 3 babies under 18 months!

And boys will always be boys...even in the baby years.
Checking out Claire's back side. Ha!

The best family shot we could get. Bless Josie's heart for smiling!

And then we progressed to the wagons in our neighborhood...by that point, Hudson was kinda over it

Sippy will make it all better!
Needless to say, we went home and passed straight out. My child was not on a candy high because he didn't get any candy....Maybe next year.

And isn't this crazy to see!

And it wouldn't be me, or it wouldn't be Hudson without some smocked up in the mix.

Running in the backyard!
(photo-bomb brought to you by Riley)

Up next, Broadmoor's Fall Fest with Jess and Carson

Look at that sweet mooo cow!

And Triple P (party pooper pumpkin...the triple threat)

Sometimes he just straight up chooses to frown at the camera!

Best mommies and babies

Basically, we just strolled around for awhile. The boys were too young for most of it, but they will have a BLAST next year!

So we are heading to Starkville this weekend for the game! I can't wait to tailgate with some of my favorite Phi Mu ladies! But first, Hudson is getting haircut #2 this afternoon. Maybe more than a trim this time :(

Happy Friday!
