School's out!

Last week was the big kids last week of Trinity MMO. And what a sweet school year it has been!
It has been amazing to watch Hudson grow so much in his language and speech.... And his Trinity teachers (Ms Julie, Ms Ashly, Ms Amanda and Ms Michelle) and his speech therapist, Anne Marie, have played a huge role in that!
I am so glad that we decided to let Hudson repeat the twos this year! Best decision ever! This way, he will be one of the oldest (and not literally the youngest), he's in his corrected class based on his birthday, and I get to spend a whole extra year with him before he goes to five year old kindergarten (as a six year old).

He's made so many friends this year that he loves so much. And it's been fun for him to actually come home and talk about them and what he did at school.
I mean, look at that frat boy hair! I die!

And look at that sissy! She started two days a week in January to prepare for the baby coming. Before then, she hadn't been anywhere other than with the nanny at home. Not even the church nursery, I'm embarrassed to say, we were very loyal to the mommy room!
But she did great! She did get upset for awhile at drop off, but Ms La Rue and Ms Faye assured me that she did great after I left.
My favorite thing about picking her up in the most recent weeks is she'd run up to me and tell anyone that was listening "that's that ma-ma". Love that she's still a mommy's girl!

And please look at what less than 6 months can do to a growing toddler! Wow! And look at the hair transformation. She's grown in hair, bows and sass!

The very last day, the school held a fundraising carnival in the gym! It was so fun and so small children appropriate!
They had a shaving station which Hudson loved!

And Lillian got in on too!

Daddy even got to come! Which will love!!!

Hudson wanted a spi-doh painted on his face. And then we couldn't wash it off for 2 days.

Riding the train. Even Barnes loved it!

Sadly, we are going to miss this sweet school next year. We made the decision to move the big kids to Madison Methodist in the fall. It will be overall better for our family because I won't have to drive into Jackson every day. That drive was killing me! Especially since the school is only 3 hours a day, I was spending waaaay too much time in the car. And we've always been interested in MM, but could never get in. So in February, at 36 weeks pregnant, me and my friend Katie camped out (literally) in front of the church to secure a spot for our children in the fall. Like CAMPED OUT outside that church. Got there at 7:00 pm and registration was at 8:00 am the next morning. I would do it again bc we got the kids in!
But we will always remember our time at Trinity and the amazing staff that made my children feel so loved!
