He was being so sweet and pointing at my tummy, saying "Hey baby Barnes." I thought things had finally clicked and he understood (insert smug mommy smile). Then he pointed to my tummy again and said "hey horse" "hey cow" "hey chicken". He thinks there is an actual barn in there. Back to square one, I guess.
Just tonight, we were getting ready for bath time and he was looking at himself in the mirror (nakey). And said "two belly buttons" while pointing to his chest and nipples. Bless.
