2014 Reflections

Dear 2014,
You were a great year! We saw our baby Sissy grow into a big girl who is just as tough as her brother. We saw a Hudson that is growing so big and saying the funniest things these days. His brain surprises me daily! We saw our family moving into a new house.... a bigger house for our growing family that just so happens to be next door to Kiki and Papa. We saw that pregnancy test turn positive and learned our family of four would be turning into a family of five! We learned that God has blessed us more than we could ever imagine...and not talking about the material blessings. He has blessed us with amazing family and friends!
I saw my husband continue to amaze me with his spouse skills...and don't even get me started on his daddy skills. That man is just plain wonderful!
As wonderful as 2014 was, I know that 2015 will bring even better things...as we welcome our new (and final) family member to the Lindley household.
God is good!

I knew we wanted to have a low key NYE. And I was ok with that. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and tired. Dinner with my family and MSU football game on the couch was the perfect combination.

Daddy got off work early and we played in our makeshift fort.
They get so excited when he comes home!

The boys put on a mean fireworks show for us. Hudson's favorites were the sparklers and smoke bombs. Him holding that sparkler gave me major anxiety!

The girls didn't make it too long outside...it was cold!

I don't love to make resolutions, but here are a few things I've been thinking of:
Growing in my faith with The Lord, really starting to read The Word, mothering with more patience and grace, being a better spouse, and being more purposeful as a friend and family member.

Also other things I'd like to do this year:
lose baby weight, plan our Disney trip, learn to parent three children, not stress about putting three children through college :)

Hope everyone has a blessed and happy new year!
