Hudson's party

Hudson's birthday party was so much fun! And I know I've mentioned it, but it was so easy to plan.

If you are looking for a place where your children can run around like wild people and very little planning, please call The Little Gym. You will thank me later.

I knew that I would either have a baby at this party or very close to having a baby. And 36 weeks pregnant, I was! So you're telling me all I basically have to bring is the cake, favors, and any other color coordinating items I want....where do I sign up?

 

The big picture: Hudson Lindley had an absolute blast and got to do what he does best: run around without basically any rules.

Side notes from the party:

- My mom wasn't there. Yes, very sad thing. She woke up that morning throwing up and didn't really stop for the whole day. I kind of felt like I was missing my right arm without Kiki there. Papa Frank was there to represent.

- I will say it again. Easiest birthday party ever!

- My sweet BFF Jamie took most of these pictures. And Becca Stewart took over at the end. So thankful for them!

- Hudson had a fit over the "boons" before we left and we had to cut them down from the ceiling. Typical.

- We received so many wonderful gifts for Hudson. But I haven't written a single thank you note. I'm struggling.

- Thank you for everyone that came! It really was a great day!

 

 

The next morning was his actual day of birth. So we recycled the Little Gym's "boons" when he woke up that morning.

And yes, we are still sleeping with the pap. I know, its annoying. We are working on it. Kinda.

So now we have a big two year old who is learning more every day! And also learning about two year old tantrums...even though we have kind of mastered those for awhile now.

 

On Tuesday, we went for our two year checkup.

27 lbs 3 oz (35%)

35 3/4 inches tall (90%)
