We started out on Thursday with a trip to the zoo.
I knew hudson would love the petting zoo, but had no idea he'd love it as much as he did!

He loved feeding the animals carrots

And then he saw the rides. Ha!

The bee was a big hit!

That day, even at 5:00 pm, it was super hot. So we packed it up after about 1.5 hours and $60 later. Hudson loved the rides at the fair, but riding the "weeee" with Papa is just as fun!

Friday night, we hit up El Ranchito. Our favorite Mexican. Hudson loves to throw pennies in the fountain.

Saturday morning, we decided to venture to A Day in the Country without daddy. BIG MISTAKE! Joey might have gotten an ugly text or two after that one.
We did have fun with Jess and Carson, even though all of us were sweating something serious.

On the train

My big boy!!

And they loved the jump jump.

I bought alot more tickets than we used. After the jump, someone threw a fit about being too hot. And it wasn't my two year old!
I decided right then and there that Joey was to go to every outing with us from here on out. It's just too much. Or let me clarify, I'm too much right now.
Saturday night, Kiki kept Hudson so we could have a night alone! Thanks Kiki! We cooked out and watched the game. Was in bed by 9:15.... My favorite kinds of dates.
We also had big plans of going to the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but it rained and we were too tired.
We're trying to soak in as much of Hudson as possible these days. His little world is about to be rocked and it worries me! But we are so excited to meet the sweet girl that will round out our family of four!
