Recently and random

Here we are, 38 weeks Tom and still no Lillian. Where is she? Oh yeah, she's just happy go lucky in my belly! I'm trying all the old wives tales to get this party started!

Here are so recent random pictures. If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen most of these.

Hudson and "al-mo"

His boots. Big step for me. And they will be paired with gingham pants. Not ready for jeans

And of course Lil and her cute ruffle booty!

My obamacare "free" pump came in. Don't even get me started on it, but I really am thankful for the free pump.

Playing outside with the boys!

Hudson slept until 9:30 am (when I woke him up). And the the hair says it all!

My 15 year old toddler.

Playing at the park with Kelli, Kate and Owen. Love them!

And last, our weekly lunch date to chickfila. This is our special tradition and I plan to keep it up when sister comes. But brother bear didn't like the chocolate on his hands. I have a very different reaction when I get chocolate on my hands.

Happy Saturday and go dawgs!
Also, if you have a extra spot on your prayer list, please say one for me and Lillian. That she comes into this world safely and healthy.... And very sooner than later.

Regardless, this week is our last full week as a family of three!
Happy Saturday!

37 weeks

On Sunday, I officially turned 37 weeks. Full term. Lillian is safe and sound to come at any time. I went to my OB to get checked yesterday... Not really expecting anything too mind blowing to have changed. And turns out, still the same: 1cm and no effacement. At this time with Hudson, I was 1cm and 50% effaced.

Dr shiflett informed me that I do carry my babies low, but sweet Lillian is kind of high in my low belly. But head down, which is good! So I am a woman on a mission to get this child out. I've consulted my DL OB friend, Alicia, for all the good tips. And it's on.
But regardless, we are inducing at 39 weeks. October 23rd, which happens to be Joey's birthday. I was hesitant about the birthday thing, but he thinks its so sweet that they'd share a birthday. And that makes my heart smile.

Below is my 37 week whale of a bump. And the piko tent doesn't help my appearance, but they sure are comfortable!

Also, I'd like to add its 8:43 am and my child is still asleep. Can I get a happy hump day?!?!?!?!!!

Busy weekend

Considering my current state (aka being fat), we had a fun filled weekend. It is truly getting harder and harder to do things with Hudson without another person involved. And that other person involved generally needs to be daddy.
We started out on Thursday with a trip to the zoo.
I knew hudson would love the petting zoo, but had no idea he'd love it as much as he did!

He loved feeding the animals carrots

And then he saw the rides. Ha!

The bee was a big hit!

That day, even at 5:00 pm, it was super hot. So we packed it up after about 1.5 hours and $60 later. Hudson loved the rides at the fair, but riding the "weeee" with Papa is just as fun!

Friday night, we hit up El Ranchito. Our favorite Mexican. Hudson loves to throw pennies in the fountain.

Saturday morning, we decided to venture to A Day in the Country without daddy. BIG MISTAKE! Joey might have gotten an ugly text or two after that one.
We did have fun with Jess and Carson, even though all of us were sweating something serious.

On the train

My big boy!!

And they loved the jump jump.

I bought alot more tickets than we used. After the jump, someone threw a fit about being too hot. And it wasn't my two year old!
I decided right then and there that Joey was to go to every outing with us from here on out. It's just too much. Or let me clarify, I'm too much right now.

Saturday night, Kiki kept Hudson so we could have a night alone! Thanks Kiki! We cooked out and watched the game. Was in bed by 9:15.... My favorite kinds of dates.

We also had big plans of going to the pumpkin patch on Sunday, but it rained and we were too tired.
We're trying to soak in as much of Hudson as possible these days. His little world is about to be rocked and it worries me! But we are so excited to meet the sweet girl that will round out our family of four!

Hudson's party

Hudson's birthday party was so much fun! And I know I've mentioned it, but it was so easy to plan.
If you are looking for a place where your children can run around like wild people and very little planning, please call The Little Gym. You will thank me later.
I knew that I would either have a baby at this party or very close to having a baby. And 36 weeks pregnant, I was! So you're telling me all I basically have to bring is the cake, favors, and any other color coordinating items I want....where do I sign up?

The big picture: Hudson Lindley had an absolute blast and got to do what he does best: run around without basically any rules.

So here is Hudson's birthday in pictures.

Side notes from the party:
- My mom wasn't there. Yes, very sad thing. She woke up that morning throwing up and didn't really stop for the whole day. I kind of felt like I was missing my right arm without Kiki there. Papa Frank was there to represent.
- I will say it again. Easiest birthday party ever!
- My sweet BFF Jamie took most of these pictures. And Becca Stewart took over at the end. So thankful for them!
- Hudson had a fit over the "boons" before we left and we had to cut them down from the ceiling. Typical.
- We received so many wonderful gifts for Hudson. But I haven't written a single thank you note. I'm struggling.
- Thank you for everyone that came! It really was a great day!

The next morning was his actual day of birth. So we recycled the Little Gym's "boons" when he woke up that morning.
And yes, we are still sleeping with the pap. I know, its annoying. We are working on it. Kinda.

"al-mo" freaked him out that morning

Uneaten birthday donut with 2 big boy candles

So now we have a big two year old who is learning more every day! And also learning about two year old tantrums...even though we have kind of mastered those for awhile now.

On Tuesday, we went for our two year checkup.
27 lbs 3 oz (35%)
35 3/4 inches tall (90%)

Love my tall and skinny boy!
