whats been going on

So.... I've been keeping a secret. Like a big one.

It's very true! We are expecting again! Hudson Lindley will be a big brother in October!!

And guess what?

 

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

I am 19 weeks and we had our big scan on Thursday.

Our sweet girl is healthy and happy!

 

But this little bit hasn't been as helpful as we'd all hoped. It all started when I was about 15 weeks and my MD said we could "take a peak" at the gender. We took "the peak" with Hudson was it was clear as day. So we were super excited to find out early again. Well this sweet girl kept her legs crossed the whole time. Always the lady. But the sono woman (who is so sweet might I add) did mention she thought it was a girl. Fast forward 2 weeks, we are about to head to the beach and I beg nicely ask my friend at UMC who does ped echoes to scan me. Again, Priss pot had her legs closed, but we did get one shot that indicated girl. At this point, we were getting pretty excited. A GIRL?!?! But it definitely wasn't for certain. But these last two weeks, I was just sure that the baby sprouted a penis, and we were having another boy. Turns out my feelings were wrong, and we are all seeing pink!!

 

And we already have a name. Yes, we are on top of things!

 

Our baby girl will be....

Lillian Tate Lindley

(Lillian Lindley for the most part)

 

I've had this name picked out for way longer than I've known Joey awhile

and basically laid it out for him when we were going through the marriage process.

Lillian is my maternal grandmother. So sweet and so special

And yes, she will go by Lillian.

 

Everytime I think about her sweet name, I just tear up.

And don't ask my mom about it, she turns into water works.
 

Kiki wanted to be the first to show Lillian some girly clothes love

And Hudson is so excited about his little sister!

 

I plan on updating on basically the first half of this pregnancy. I am determined to be as bloggy as I was when pregnant with Hudson.

We are so excited about our girl, our sweet healthy girl!
