On Sunday night, we ventured over to see the Canton Lights. Jess told me it was a great place to let a crazy overactive little boy run around. And it was! Plus, it we knew it was about to get seriously cold in the next week. And we didn't want to have Hudson out in the freezing temps with his fresh, new tubes.
So we dressed in one of our favorite Christmas smocked and headed to the Beacoms for dinner.
Claire and Hudson are getting used to this picture thing
And Hudson is funny holding up that ornament. Thats the only way I could get him to sit still!
Once we got to Canton, it was so beautiful with all the lights! We couldn't wait to get the kiddies on the carousel. Little did we know, that thing went at lightning speed and had a death grib on the babies. Plus, it was going up and down too and you had to move up and down to keep up. So slightly felt like a stripper, as well. That's weird right?
On Santa's sled
Even though he doesn't look it, he totally had fun. When he's really into something or really focused, he gets this mesmorized/serious look on his face.
Daddy helping navigate through the mud
Pretty lit tree!
We also got to see Santa. Hudson was actually really great with him, but he didn't smile for the picture. And they were asking 10 bones for a 4x6. So I said, no thank you. We will see him at a free location this week!
We let the kiddies run around a bit and then headed home. Fun night for sure!
And this is what Hudson does these days in the car. Takes his shoes and socks off. Its cute, but can be annoying when you're trying to run errands.
If you have little kiddies, I would definitely recommend Canton Lights! They are cute, little rides and beautiful lights that will just make their little eyes glow. I love making Christmas traditions
Happy Wednesday!
