What have we been doing recently?

one word: FLU

Turns out, Hudson had it too. I don't know why I even thought he didn't or wouldn't have it. Where is my NAIVE stamp to put straight to my forehead? I kiss all over that baby on a daily basis. We probably had been swapping germies for a few days before we were actually diagnosed.

So last week, we had a sick baby and a sick mommy. And that doesn't make for a fun household.

We are slowly but surely getting back into our normal sleep patterns...who knew a baby being sick could totally screw up everything you've worked for in terms of a sleeping baby.

I mean, Hudson was back to his newborn hijinks last week. and.it.was.not.fun. We are still trying to recover from this. 

He's been laughing, smiling, and playing this week...so he is definitely on the mend. But don't get it twisted, I still stick that thermomater up his hinny about 3-4 times a day. Yes, I measure his temp that way. It is the most accurate.

Moving on, we ate shrimp at Kiki and Papa Frank's last night. Kiki came home with these gems for Hudson.

I totally agree with Heather and Brittany on the issue of these sandals. I love these little sea-wees. And Hudson will definitely be sporting these (and other colors) for several years!

Look at those little feet...

Just because you have a boy, doesn't mean you have to dress him in dump trucks and screen print tees of cartoon characters. I just refuse. So these sandals will look so cute with our smocked outfits that we are finally able to wear now that its spring and warm outside!  Happy Wednesday!
