My sweet baby boy! He is 5 months old now!
It is so cliche to say that time flys, but it really really does.
And this mommy is really really sad about it!
Although, this stage is so much fun! Hudson can interact with us, smile with us, and play with us now.
I am just in love with our son. My heart grows bigger with love for him every.single.day
How did we go this long without him in our lives?
5 months info about Hudson Lindley:
-Eating cereal 2 times a day, at 10:00 and 5:30-6:00. And does he love his cereal! You can't get it in his mouth fast enough! Just started feeding him in his highchair on Friday night. He seems to enjoy that!
-Still nursing and loving it. I had originally said I was going to stop at 6 weeks, then 12 weeks, and now 6 months... and I'm starting to re-think that too. It is just a sweet time with us, and it really is the best nutrition for him.
-Sleeps 11-12 hours at night. Goes to bed around 8:00ish and wakes up at 6:15 on weekdays. On weekends, he will sleep as late as I let him.
-When he's tired, he rubs his eyes. That's your sign he's fading fast.
-Wearing size 1 diapers. I'll probably switch to size 2 when we are done with this box.
Shout out to Kiki for getting us the pampers BIG box from Sams. 242 diapers rocks our world!
-Wearing a lot of different size clothing. In carters sleepers, he can wear 3 months and is growing into 6 months. In his regular clothes, he's in 3-6 months and some 6 month stuff for length. The boy is tall and skinny.
-He has been rolling tummy to back since 9 weeks, but he just rolled from back to tummy yesterday. Now, I turn around for ONE second and he's flipped several times. He likes keeping me on my toes!
-Can prop on his arms in prone and does what they call "the superman" position. But he doesn't like tummy time, so he quickly rolls back over.
-Been starting to practice prop sitting...isn't really into it right now
-Has the biggest grin ever and really loves to giggle at mom! Whenever he sees me, his face lights up. This causes my face to light up...and the cycle continues.
-Can throw a fit the size of Texas. If the boy is tired or hungry...he will let you know. I mean, serious crocodile tears!
-Intentially grabs at his toys and will play on his mat for awhile independently. But when he's done, but wants up and out.
-Has started playing in his exersaucer jungle thing. He likes it in small doses. And we recently got one of the doorway hanging, bouncy things. He's not into that yet, still too small.
-Loves to suck on his fingers and starting to drool more. But no teeth in site.
-Head full of blonde hair, and its getting thicker! And his eyes are the prettiest shade of blue.
This blonde hair, blue eyed boy will be a chick magnet one day!
-Looks more and more like his daddy every day. The only trade his has from me is my long eyelashes...and my dramatic personality. Hopefully, he will grow out of that last one.
-When I bring my face close to his face, he opens his mouth. He gives the best kisses!
-Brings so much joy to our lives!
Look at that hair...and the blonde wings to add to it.
I see this face alot these days! "Give me my food, woman!"
This PT loves his good posturing!
If its not time for cereal, my foot will do.
I could just eat him up!
You can really see his hair in this picture and I love to give him a comb-over.
I think the look works for him.
Loves to grab those toes!
And loves those fingers in his mouth.
That gummy grin is my entire world!
I don't think I did an official 4 month post, but here is one for comparison. His cheeks are definitely starting to fill in since we introduced the rice cereal.
I'd like to add that in all our monthly pictures (1-5 months), Hudson is wearing the same 0-3 month onesie. I'm not sure how he is still fitting in it, but he does...probably need to bump up a size for the next round of pictures.
At Hudson's 4 month check-up:
13 pounds 7 oz (25%)
24 and 1/4 inches (25%)
42 cm head circum (50%)
So basically, we have a little bit with a big head! ha!
I bet that weight number will change alot when we go back for our 6 month appointment.
Sorry for the long post, but I could write for days on my angel bones!

I can't believe how big he is getting!! And he has got one of the sweetest little faces of have ever seen!! :) No wonder you are such a proud momma!
