Thankful

Today is thanksgiving day. So many things to be thankful for!

First, my little lovie, Hudson. He is my greatest gift and I could not imagine life without him.

Also on this day, Hudson turns 8 weeks old. Really? I have a 2 month old. How did this happen?

Can we believe I'm 8 weeks?




We went to the MD last week and here are his stats

10 lbs 4 oz (25%)
22.5 inches long (40%)
Head circumference (40%)

That baby is growing, but still small for his age

Things I love about Hudson right now:
-He is smiling. It just melts my heart. At first, I thought it was gas, but he definitely is doing it intentionally now. He especially loves smiling at me.
-He is wearing 0-3 month clothing. Most of his newborn clothes are packed away :(
-Sleeping alittle longer at night. He will go about 5-6 hours.
-Still loves to nurse. Mommy does too.
-Started to take 1 bottle a day to prepare for when I go back to work.
-So much more alert and can stay awake and play (without crying)
-Just made the transition to size 1 diapers.
-Sleeping in his crib, but will sleep like a log on me. Can't say I don't love that.
-Being an absolute joy

My heart just grows with love for him everyday!
