Big news!

Hudson Lindley has slept through the night since Saturday! I repeat, i have a sleep-all-nighter on my hands. Pretty big deal in the Lindley household. His schedule has been 9:30 or 10:00- 6:00, nurse and then back down until 9:00. Is that a light at the end of the tunnel i see?
I read that it takes 3-5 days for a sleep pattern to form... Hopefully we are forming!

Two things that have made all the difference: miracle blanket and continuous noise machine.
First, the miracle blanket. Where have you been all my baby life? My child loves to be swaddled, but fought it so we stopped. Our friend Katie let us borrow hers, and it's been sleepy town ever since. Next, the noise machine. Hudson loves the sleep sheep, but that darn thing turns off after 45 minutes and it woke him up. Enter tiny continuous ocean in a box...and again, sleepy town.

Now, I know that the second I write this, he will wake up 5 times tonight... But we are hoping for the best! I now know his little tummy can handle not being fed for 7-8 hours. Its the small victories these days, people!

Bless his angel, tummy loving bones!

Its just too cold outside, mommy!
Look at him!

Snoozing on my chest... Love him to pieces!

Next mission: get mommy to sleep all night while the baby sleeps. Right now I wake up every hour staring at the video monitor. And I think I hear the beeping of the angel monitor in my dreams. #neverstopworrying
