We just wrapped up the first full week of our new school. It has been a fun week!
Honestly, I was alittle nervous to leave Trinity, it was such a sweet sweet school and the teachers are amazing! But I am so thankful for our new school and everyone seems so great and nurturing.
You know it is a good thing (or could be bad) when the director knows both of your children's names on the second day.
We started with meet the teachers.
I loved getting to talk with Hudson's teachers Mrs. Brooks and Mrs. Jennifer. He's in the three year old class (as an almost four year old). They get to do fun things like Wee church, soccer tots, arts and crafts, music time. And Mrs Anne Marie (speech therapist) will come to see him 1-2 times a week. Of course, I was super excited to meet Lillian's teachers too but Hudson's curriculum is definitely more important to me (since Sissy's in the toddler room this year).
Of course, I am going to bust out matching outfits when I can.

Hudson's first day was Thursday

Please look at that big boy smile!

He has his own hook for his bag, and even has a folder that he brings home daily. They also told me he couldn't bring a sippy cup to school, but they preferred a water bottle or camelbak for outside. They will use regular cups when they are inside. Wondering how long it took my accident-prone child to spill that cup.

Sissy's turn was on Friday. She goes MWF

He pink polka dot, ruffle outfit is the epitome of my girly girl's wardrobe. And don't forget the big bow to top it off!

Hudson has gotten really into holding Sissy's hand and leading her inside.
Please notice the keds. I will put all my children in keds until they can't wear them anymore.

Lillian's teachers say she has a blast. The only time she cries is when its time for pickup. I think she sees the first mommy and wonders where her mommy is. I reassured her that I will always pick her up!
And I snapped this picture walking out the other day....mommy vans for days!

So Barnes and I get to spend some quality alone time together on MWF when both big kids are at school. I am also going to use those days for errands because Sissy is with us on Tuesday and Thursdays. And that wild girl will go crazy up in a store!
It was a great first week! And I am looking forward to having them in a nurturing, Christ-centered program that is FIVE minutes from the house. AMEN and AMEN!
