Game changer

Lillian Lindley is about to be 3 months old. How is this possible? While I've loved every minute of my sweet baby's new life, things have also been rough at times.

If you know me at all, you know I get stressed when things so awry. And with a newborn and crazy two year old, it's not always going to be fun and games. I don't handle stress well. I panick. I cry. I lash out at Joey. Bless him.
Bless Hudson, too. I've had some bad mommy moments with Hudson. Not going to lie, he was yelled at and starving for attention a lot in the beginning. And that made me so sad. It was hard for me to grasp that he didn't understand that his sister was sleeping and he couldn't scream at the top of his lungs. You can't really rationalize with a two year old. Doesn't really work.
I've said the whole time that the Hudson part of this process has been the hardest. He is frustrated with not getting all the attention and is lashing out. And most of that bad behavior is being directed at me. Insert mommy's heart breaking.

But, I finally feel like I am getting this mother of two thing down. Am I still going to have my moments where I want to scream (or will scream), of course!! Have I figured it all out, heck no! But I probably never will.
I'm really just trying to step back, take a deep breath and embrace/be grateful that I get to be their mother and stay at home with these sweet babies.

God blessed me with these angels!

Daddy being sweet with our babies.

sorry if this post doesn't make much sense, but this was on my heart tonight and I want to be able to look back at this crazy fun time and remember that we survived it (gracefully)
