Scary!

So I look into the monitor last night and what do I see....

Hudson Lindley. Face planted. Wow!

Don't worry, I made sure he was breathing... And the angel monitor helps with that too!

Despite the whole self suffocation thing, I also wonder how that can even be comfortable?
Bless him, making me worry even when he sleeps!

excited, much?!?!

We had a fun weekend.
We had the annual Bingham side crawfish boil at our lakehouse...lots of family fun!

But before I do a full picture post, I thought I'd share how Hudson felt about our weekend...

Hudson Lindley obviously discovered his voice...and he likes to use it!

Side note: We do own a brush at the Lindley household. His hair was just OOC from the lake!
Bless his angel, crazy hair bones!

fever virus

Fever virus.
What in the heck is a fever virus?
This is my definition: when your baby has high fever and really no other symptoms, and they have not idea what is wrong so they just call it a stupid "fever virus"
Don't you love that medical terminology?

Hudson had that stupid fever virus earlier this week. His temperature only got up to about 101.5, but it is still scary! I took his temp about 245 times in a 3 day period. Sometimes with 2 thermometers. Yeah, I'm that crazy! #pyschonewmothersyndrome

He is doing much better now, but still running low grade temp on and off. Now, if you ask babycenter or your friendly pediatrician, they will tell you that normal range for baby is 97.0-100.4.
But to me, 99.4 or 99.7 is not normal for Hudson Lindley.
He really has been running that low grade temp on and off for 2 weeks now. Bummer!
The only conclusion I can come to is teething. The drool has increased and he has been knawing on his hands recently.

So any experienced mothers, is this normal for teething? To be teething this long without a tooth in site? And to be running low grade temp on and off for long periods of time?
What are your favorite teething remedies?

Finally!

Easter, finally!
Wow! I am behind, but better later than never.

Hudson's first Easter was so fun!
I'll let the pictures do the talkin'

My Elvis Easter bunny

Bunny tail

The Easter bunny stopped by our house to visit Hudson.
He racked up!
This year, the bunny knew we were going to the beach soon. So his theme was "Beach Bunny"
(Monogrammed beach towel and tote from PBkids, beach hats, swim trunks, inflatable swimming pool and beach toys.) He also threw in a swing, jon jons, books and a light-up toy.

The big boy posing with some of his stuff.

Getting his book on!

And these are so special.
Last year, I got the egg to the left made before I knew Hudson was a baby boy. Gender neutral with a stork. I found out Hudson was a "he" the day after I picked that egg up.

This year's egg is bunny with a blue diaper and rattle.
The eggs and his Easter basket were made at Old Tyme Commissary.

Our family
Please look at my cheesin' son. And sweet Josie looking so handsome!
Bless their angel bones!

Hudson and his favorite girl cousins on the Lindley side

That is all for now.
Now you are back up to speed in our life (like you really cared)

Back to the present, Hudson is over his "fever virus"...more on that later.
He weighed 17 lbs 4 oz on 04/23/12. Big boy has gained one pound in two weeks.

Happy Thursday!

Over the weekend

Over the weekend...we didn't do much. The weather was cool on Saturday and baby boy is feeling under the weather.

But don't worry, I got random photos of our extremely boring weekend.

All smiles, wearing his muscle shirt

I can get the pap back in my mouth... It's just backwards.

Still trying...

Got it! Our new MAMs are as big as his face.

Target wore that baby out.
And please notice those camo seat covers on Joey's "hunting" Tahoe. How gross are those? Something might accidentally happen to those things soon!

Look who tried a sippy cup this weekend.... Hudson Lindley did!

And sucked that water down like a champ. He just wanted me to hold it. Why is my baby old enough to be trying a sippy cup?

Me and my demon eyes baby.
Sushi with Brian and Susan.

Our weekend in words: Target. Chick fila, upsize waffle fries. Cold and windy Saturday. New Girl marathon. Daddy bought "hunting" trailer. Sushi dinner with scary eyes baby. Church. Kroger. Kiki home from Maine. Fussy baby. 101.5 temp baby. Tylenol ever 4 hours. RHONJ (ridic).

And pediatrician today at 2:45.

Boom. Happy Monday.
