The slacker is back. And I'm here to document Lillian's monthly updates
Lillian Lindley turned NINE months on July 16th. Such a big girl! And, of course, still the sweetest thing ever! Even though I'm late posting, these pictures are actually in the correct time.
Things about Lillian at NINE months:
- Still wearing 9-12 months clothing depending on stride. Size 2 diapers still getting the job done
- Nursing 4 times a day. And getting very distracted, which makes nursing difficult at times. We have to go in a dark, quiet room for it to work. Eating 3 meals a day, and she doesn't miss a meal. She is on full blown big people food at this point. Her favorite things: cheerios, sweet potatoes, peaches, applesauce, avocado, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, yogurt, puffs, mangos, waffles, eggs, pancakes and cheese. She doesn't love whole green beans or peas, so I have to sneak them in somewhere. She will pretty much eat anything I am cooking for dinner, which is nice!
- We let go of the sleep sack, and have just been sleeping in footed pjs. Goes to bed around 7:00 pm- 6:30 am (for milk) and will got back to sleep until 8:00 am.
Two naps per day.
-Crawling crawling everywhere! And that Sissy is fast!
She has started to pull up and cruise on the couch. She can even be seen standing without holding on to anything. It freaks me out.
- Loves her activity table that lights up and her pink baby doll. She has also started to show interest in pushing things around....her wooden walker or the toy grocery cart.
- Nicknames: Sissy Lindley, Sissy Pot (Hudson says this) or Lilliaaaan (when we can't find her)
- Still the happiest girl in the world. Always smiling and loves her life....as long as she has food and her pap when she's tired.
We love you, Sissy! You are just the perfect addition to our family!

Now, moving on to TEN months.
Sissy Lindley turned TEN months on August 16th.
Things about Lillian at TEN months:
- wearing mostly 12 month stuff now...but can still fit into 9 months. Her fall dresses that I ordered in 12 months absolutely swallow her, though. We moved up to size 3 diapers simply because I had a box of threes.
- As of month ten, Lillian is still an EBF baby, but she takes the bottle mostly now. It was the right decision for our family. Now, she will sit in my lap and take her bottle of bm and I can be out in the world of the living, and not in a dark room. The plan is to continue with the breastmilk bottles until 12 months. For some reason, I really wanted to make it to a year without using formula. I hope it works out! She is eating any and every thing! Last night, she ate zucchini boats. She ain't scared!
- Still sleeping 7:00 pm- 6:30 am (for bottle) and back down until 8:00 am. She knows when its time for bed, and if she's not getting her milk at that time, you better watch out!
Two naps per day.
-As of a few days ago, Lillian Lindley started walking! What the what?!?!??? She can take 6-8 steps consecutively and getting better every day! I kind of wanted to push her down, but she is so proud of herself. She continues to use crawling as her main method of mobility.
-Lillian has 6 teeth! 4 on the bottom and 2.5 on the top. And she is not afraid to bite you when she is playing
- Her smile has seemed to get bigger this month! She is such a joy to us! Sometimes, when we are playing, it makes me tear up because she is so happy!
Love you, my Sissy angel!
