So yeah, its been awhile since I've updated the ole blog.
Sometimes I feel like no one cares about our playdates and random outings.
But today, I am going to copy my blog friend Mallory and do a Friday on Five (on Sunday).
1. I'm pregnant. Yes, I know you already knew this, but I am really pregnant. With Hudson, I didn't start to feel really pregnant until about 32-33 weeks. And here we are at 25 weeks. And I am feeling large and in charge. And exhausted from chasing around Hudson all day, every day. It has hit me fast and furious this time. But my love for pregnancy is still the same. Sweet Lillian likes to play kickboxing at night and although it is getting rough in there, it is still the sweetest feeling in the world.
I always heard with a girl you "spread" more...meaning you get wider. Well, I don't know if its the second baby thing or the "spreading" thing, but I am fat. And it doesn't help that I have an affinity for all things bad for me. Seriously, if its healthy, I.don't.want.it. Pretty much like with Hudson, I love pizza, fries, chocolate, candy, and sweet treat around. And portion control has left the building.
We are preparing for baby girl. Her bedding is ordered, and her closet is getting bigger and bigger. If its pink and girly, she's getting it. Between Kiki and myself, we are in trouble.
2. Hudson had his first real throw up and be sick all day experience. My child has most definitely been sick before. Many times. But usually, he is the type to be sick but still running around and playing. This time was much different. He'd kinda been snotty and coughy all week with random temps. But he acted pretty ok, so we continued our week with our normal routine. And probably pushed him too hard. By Saturday, that sweet boy was out for the count. He started crying when I went to get him up that morning....which is never a good sign. I gave him meds and he projectile vomited on me. So off to the after hours clinic we went. One diagnosis of sinus infection and an antibiotic later, we were leaving and he seemed to be feeling better. He slept for 2.5-3 hours and I should have known something was up. After he woke up, his daddy (that's what I call joey when I don't agree with a Hudson-related decision he makes) let him chug water. Projectile vomit #2 happened. Both times ALL of me. Motherhood at its greatest. By Sunday, he was back to his normal self. But on Saturday, we watched more Tootles than ever and he pretty much didn't leave my shoulder. Cuddle baby at its best.
I hated that he was so sick, but I do love to cuddle with my sweet angel of a boy.
3. We had our first craigslist sale last week. And now I am addicted. I am still trying to convince Joey to sell everything we own and get new things....ha! All for the thrill of the game.
We sold our guest bed and mattress set. In 2 days. What a success! I don't love looking at the stuff people put on craigslist though. Apparently my idea of "great condition" is not the same as the other craigslisters.
4. It is HOT HOT HOT outside. Pretty much all our activities these days have to involve water of some kind. I've pretty much scouted out all the splash pads in the Jackson area. It is even hard to play outside in the afternoon because it is so dern hot. I made it about 20 minutes the other day until I had todrag lure Hudson inside with Scooby snacks.
5. They have been playing Laguna beach on MTV in the mornings. We're talking old school Kristin Cavillari and Lauren Conrad (she preferred to be called LC back then). And this is just between us, but a certain Joey Lindley also loves to watch LB/The Hills. So I've been recording them, and we've had marathons at night. High school drama at its greatest!

That's it for now. Happy weekend!
