I had a nice, relaxing 5 day weekend.
And it was wonderful. Wonderfully wonderful.
And I am excited and hopeful that more times like that will happen in the near future.
And the rambling has begun....
Back to the weekend. It was a great, relaxing weekend. Hudson got a cold and had snot everywhere running down his nose at.all.times. But that didn't spoil our fun!
We had our monthly girls dinner at Panasia. Funness follows us.
I tore up some half price sushi
Daddy and Hudson watching the college world series
Friday night, we had date night.
Mexican and a movie. And, of course, Joey let me pick the movie!
I picked Snow White and the Huntsman
Ya'll, it was so good!!! Like, I want to see it again, good!
And I had to support my girl, Kristen. She was still kinda fidgety, but really she did a great job!
Maybe her best role yet
And she was so good, too! Scary, but good!
Joey liked all the action...those little dwarfs can fight!
I even heard sweet Josie saying he wanted to see it again
It was alittle different than the Disney movie and I almost totally forgot about the whole eat-the-apple thing. But the basic Snow White "bones" were still there.
On Saturday morning, we went to Another Broken Egg for breakfast.
I really think this was the best dining experience we've had with Hudson EVER!
He was able to sit in his little chair and I gave him bites of pancakes. First pancake alert!
And he LOVED it! That sweet baby loves his carbs like his momma.
I mean, look at that face!
Hudson sailed away in a dream
(cheese ball alert)
And for your viewing pleasure, this is Hudson Lindley eating some homemade greenbeans I made.
This baby loves gerber green beans, but he doesn't like the homemade stuff
I really do love making his baby food, but Hudson really doesn't love to eat it.
He will eat the bananas and avocado, but the green beans, squash/zucchini, peas, and carrots are a struggle. Maybe its the consistency.
Now we are just gearing up for another week.
Happy Monday!

Mine wouldn't have anything to do with the green beans or peas I made. And he was picky as to what brand baby food he'd eat of them. I never thought to try zucchini though. I made most everything else and just stuck to store bought green foods.
