Daisypath Anniversary Years Ticker

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

I watched the best movie this weekend...

Romeo + Juliet
(the 1996 version)

Have ya'll watched this movie lately? Wow! it was so so good! I know what you are thinking...Kristin, that movie is so old, and weird. But if you know this blog, you know that I like weird movies.

I haven't seen this movie in years, YEARS! The first time, I think I just stared at Leonardo the whole movie. He is pretty in this film. Really pretty! But this time, I actually paid attention to the words and could understand what they were saying. You know, that Shakespeare has a lingo all his own.
But this movie has a contemporary twist to it!

And I don't know if its the hormones or the actual movie, but I sobbed through the whole thing.

And when I shall die, take him and cut him up in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will fall in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun.
Act 3, Scene 2

So I guess that's what tired, preggies do on a Sunday: watch their husband do yard work and sob at Shakespeare...and eating all.day.long
Perfect Sunday!
