Superbowl Surprise!

Look at this cute couple.
What do you see? A sweet Josie and a blonde penny (who looks like has short hair, but that is an optical illusion).

If you look closely, you will see A BABY IN THAT BELLY! Ha! Not really! But this was our first picture as a FAMILY OF THREE! Joey and I are so happy to finally shout to the world that we are expecting! (well technically, Joey doesn't really want to shout anything...but he is very excited!)
Baby Lindley will be making his/her arrival around October 10th, so that makes me 12 weeks this week!

I found out I was preggie on February 6th (superbowl sunday), and have been grinning ear to ear ever since. What my blog friends probably don't know is, that I got this baby bug like 6 months ago. And it stung me like a freakin hornet.. or really big spider. And what my closest friends have known for 6 months, I REALLY WANTED TO HAVE A CHILD! It had become a slight obsession. Fast forward to now, I am 3 months pregnant!

I will not go into the story about how I took a test 2 days before I found out and how I totally read it wrong...or the 14 positive pregnancy tests that followed. Bottom Line: I am with child.

And now is question and answer time:

1. When are you due?
 October 10th, 2011

2. Have you been sick?
Yes, I have only thrown up a few times, but I was nauseas ALL day for 6 weeks. Whoever named it morning sickness should be shot dead. DEAD!

3. Have you been tired?
Yes!! This is an understatement. I am tired all.the.time. I am hoping this magical 2nd trimester will cure that, though!

4. What do you think you are having?
No idea! I have been picking out boy things because I have had girl things picked out for like 27 years. Ha!

5. Do you have names picked out?
We are still working on that. We have a boy first name (that will just be a first name, not the "called" name)
and a girl first name (that she will go by)...still working on middles.

6. When do you find out what you are having?
Middle of May. That seems like 8 winters away.

Fun momma and Baby Lindley facts:

I am having the weirdest food cravings (Chocolate loving spoon cake from Mcalisters, bacon, hamburgers, french fries, pizza...if its bad, I like it) and aversions (shrimp, turkey sandwiches, chicken, and anything healthy).

Remember that mountain we didn't finish in Gatlinburg? Yep, that was because of me. It is crazy that a baby the size of a large plum could totally whip you out. Yes, it really happens, people! I was very active before this pregnancy, but now, I feel like sit-and-be-fit would wear me out. So these days, I have been catching up on TV and watching lots of movies.

Baby has a nickname: Bernadette, Burny for short. This name was given by my coworkers. And it stuck.

Baby has a first outfit. A MSU onsie with matching booties. I.could.die, it is so cute! That was a present from Trish.

Speaking of Trish, my parents and Joey's parents are so so excited! This little one will be truly loved by all. Ha!

Like I have said before, we are so thankful that God has given us this blessing! Please keep Baby L in your prayers. I can not wait to see this sweet baby in October!
