Well, if you must know....its CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS. Who's excited about them?
I am!!
i.love.them.
And one month is just not enough to enjoy all the goodness that is christmas decorations. So this year, I informed Josie that we will be bending the after-thanksgiving rules...as in, we are starting the process a WEEKish early. Yeh us! And then Josie informed me that is opening weekend of gun season. Who cares about those stupid deers when there are important things like christmas decorations to worry about? And Trish (my mom) has also informed me that she can not help me slave over my house like she did last year. Really Trish, you too? So this might be a solo mission, people. Have no fear, bc I just purchased our 2nd tree, and I am on a mission. A Christmas mission, if you will. So just know, if you come to my house in the next two weeks, you may or may not see a wreath or a twinkle of lights or a blow-up snow globe in the front yard. Ha! Kinda kidding about the globe.
When is too early to start this process? Do you agree with Joey? Am I OOC?
And, I still have to post about NYC and New Orleans. I guess I am OOC and lazy!
Have a great week!

I totally put my stuff up this week! still have to put the lights up outside! :) christmas and me have a good decorating relationship. love it.
ReplyDeleteI put a moss covered reindeer on the fireplace this week and my husband had a fit and said, "Absolutely not until the day after thanksgiving.." I will work on this. Otherwise my whole house would be decorated this weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'd leave my Christmas Decor up year round if it were socially acceptable, however for now, I'm abiding by the "rules" and waiting until the day after Thanksgiving. But trust me...the day after T-giving..it's on Christmas!!
