So with the crazy week somewhat behind me, I need your assistance with 2 things:
1. I am going to New York in 2 weeks and want to know the fun things to do.
Don't tell me the statue of liberty, central park, ya ya ya....I've got all that. I want the fun, and semi-touristy stuff...and of course, the shopping. I need it all! I fully plan on assaulting H&M and the Forever21 on Broadway. Any other great locations that I NEED to see?
2. What shoes to wear? And this question can go for here in MS or in NYC. Here, we are in-between seasons. It is cold enough to put the flops up, but not cold enough to bust out the knee boots. In NYC, I'm pulling out the trusty Uggs...God love 'em. I really don't want to pull out my tennies for this trip, but don't think I won't. I found these great flat brown boots...
Cute, right? Yeah, that's what I thought too!
But I also have some equally as cute, but not equally as comfy black boots. So I might make a last minute black converse purchase. Or black Uggs purchase (if Josie will allow). Any other shoe suggestions for this trip or now in MS? I hate a ballet flat... and there are not that many options out there right now. And I can't wear my stripper heels on an every day basis with skinnies.
I told you pressing stuff, right? Hope you have a great week! And happy birthday to my friend Jennifer! Buttermilk Biscuit Jen!
And I will leave you with a picture of that sweet baby Adda Laine. Isn't she a doll? And, of course, Zach in the background has to mess up the picture. ha!

Haven't checked in on y'all in a while! Bumped into your mom about a month ago. it was so good to see her..I wore tall, flat boots the whole week I was in NY last year. Seemed to work well-just make sure they are comfortable! For fall/winter here in MS, have you thought about black booties? The Tahari ones I have have a decent heel but they are pretty comfy. Sam Edelman's are extremely cute and comfy too! Have fun in NY and happy belated birthday!
