This face
does not want to turn into...
THAT.
A leather handbag.
So this girl is taking a break from tanning. Now let me clarify, this is not a break up from ALL sun. This is just from the tanning bed. I will still be dating the actual sun in the summertime. Baby steps people! And Joey has been gracious enough to even allow me to spray tan on a regular basis. I am not sure how I feel about the spray tan, but something's gotta give and this girl can NOT be white. (see above, chubby pale is not a good look for me). So anyone have any suggestions about spray tan? or any self tan products I can purchase? If not, next time you see me, I will be the orange girl with the dirty Mystic tan hands. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about if you have spray tanned before.
Speaking of leather handbag, I have made a recent purchase. This purchase is a timeless piece that can be used forever and then I can pass it down to my child. That's right, I have invested in a Louis Vuitton handbag. It's actually the beauty in the above picture. Her full name is Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy 35. Isn't she lovely? I have been wanting one of these for awhile, and we don't have children right now, so we can splurge on over-the-top purchases? right? (crickets). And I have a secret. I not only purchased one LV, but I purchased TWO LVs. Really? Yes I did! I could not decide about the size, so I ordered both of them with full intentions of returning one. Why would I want two handbags that look so much alike? She arrives today and I am so so excited!!!! And just alittle shout-out to Joey for letting me make this purchase...he feeds my addiction for all things fashion. And I love him dearly for it!
Have a great week!

Hey Girl! I stumbled across your blog from "The Rodrigues's House" :). I had to comment on this....I totally agree, I too have broken up with the tanning bed this year. I have used the Neutrogena Tanning Wipes in the past and like them a lot....no streaking and no orange and they have different shades so you aren't uber brown in the middle of January :). I am trying an airbrush tan this week actually....some friends did it for my wedding and they looked great! No orange either! So we shall see!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the bag, btw! And the blog! :)
you know my likes/dislikes on this one- migi's airbrush by Virginia (Flowood store) is excellent but most expensive. fav at home is 'fake bake' and loreal gelee. use gloves. xoxo
ReplyDeletehey! you need to get Sally Hansen's airbrush legs in medium glow. It says it's for legs, which works great there, but I also do arms, neck and chest when needed! The best thing is that it doesn't smell at all and you can rub it on 2 minutes before you walk out the door. It's great!
ReplyDeleteHey! I broke up with tanning beds last year... i was like you, didnt do it all the time but enough to worry. I was just rocking pale...but now I go to Palm Beach tan for mystic tanning... I like it. yeah, i notice a little "extra" color on my hands and elbows but nobody really sees that now! I would recommend it and it makes me feel better about myself! Hope you can make a decision :)
