Sunday movie pallet day

This is our Sunday tradition. Sunday movie pallet day. It all started when we got married and we used to spend the whole day (Sunday) on the floor in our living room...and you guessed it, watching movies. See we had carpet in our old house, so we brought the feather bed in there with lots of covers and snuggled all day. Most of my friends know that this day is very important to us (well, me atleast). But now, we have hardwood floors in our great room, so we have moved to the couch. Yesterday, our movie day started out with Joey going to play 'call of duty' with Zach. (And this is why I refuse to get a PS3 in my house...but that is a whole different post). So I was the main participant with our festivities yesterday and Joey made his appearances here and there. Here is our Sunday list of movies:

1. The Hangover
Maybe the funniest movie ever, and makes me laugh everytime. Since we started watching The Office, we like it even more
2. My Big Fat Greek Wedding
I love this movie! and it always makes me cry...actually I cried ALOT yesterday
3. Practical Magic
Again, love this movie. ABC family was on a role yesterday. So I started this movie in the living room, and I turned around and Joey was no where to be found...He hates this movie and was determined not to watch it. So I watched the first 30 minutes and the last 30 minutes. Still was great!
4. 500 Days of Summer (via Netflicks)
Joey was not happy about this either, but it was better than Practical Magic in his book. Can I say, that I LOVED this movie. I always love indie films, and this was a great one. Joseph Gordon -Levitt did a great job and Zooey Deschanel was as quirckie as ever! Definately recommend it!
5. The Notebook
This movie was a solo operation. The Saints were on, but I couldn't resist this movie (and I watched some of the game on commercials). Why do I do this to myself? Everytime I watch it, I turn into a blubbering mess. Literally. Uncontrollable. Weeping. But I love it. Such a sweet story. Breaks my heart everytime!!
6. Forrest Gump
A classic. Another Blubbering mess. You'd think I'd be out of tears at this point, but nope, I had plenty to spare for this movie.

So this was our day. Me crying, Joey sleeping to avoid the massive amount of chick flicks, and the Saints winning.

For the record, I don't normally love the chick flicks (and especially not multiple ones in a row), but the stars aligned yesterday and they was the perfect Sunday! Thanks ABC family and Netflicks! (and Joey!)
