Lately

It has been kind of crazy here at the Lindley household. First off, I finished my last clinical in PT school and completed the VERY expensive board review course with my class last week. It wasn't really what I expected, but whatever. I did learn that I have ALOT to review before I take that test. This is my thing with boards, I made it all the way through PT school (and had good grades too), but non of that matters if I don't do well of that national test....5 hours, 250 questions, one 15 minute break, and our review instructor said we had roughly 72 seconds to answer each question. 72 SECONDS? And these questions are easy either. Also, did i mention that I have 3 review books? Each book is 500 pages. Really? So I have begun the study process, meaning I will study 3-4 hours a day for 6 weeks. That is my plan as of now.

Next, Joey and I have made a big decision in our life. We have decided to move. With the new addition to the family (see pictures below) and our massive amount of stuff, we are BUSTING out of this house. We need more square footage, as they say. So we are looking at houses and meeting with builders to see what our options are. I would love to be able to pick out the plan, fixtures, etc but I don't know if it will happen. But the houses that we have looked at have been beautiful and built within the last 2 years. All in Madison, of course....Frank (my dad) likes to have the least miles bt us and my parents as possible. He actually once WALKED to our house from his. (3.5 miles over the interstate gluckstadt bridge), but that is a whole other story. So all prayers are welcome as we start this whole process (and for my boards too if your list isn't too full).
Lastly, I wanted to posts some new pics of the pup. Riley is getting so big and she is so so pretty. She is sleeping through the night too. Her and guss are getting better, but they still fight all the time (also see picture, Guss goes in for the kill). We have just started to teach her how to sit, stay, and all that stuff...but she is not taking to it so well. She really doesn't listen to any commands...and she is only 11 weeks. We chose not to watch Marley and Me (heard it was too sad and I am such a cry baby), but from what I have seen, she could be that pup's double. She acts exactly the same.

(I had to throw one in our me and my sweet heart. LOVE HIM!)
One more thing, so I am still stuck on Twilight. I have read the 4 books AGAIN and I can't seem to get rid of this obsession. I have even stooped so low to start to look at blogs about Twilight (sad, I know). But I did find this really funny one....and I put it on my blog list. Twilightwidower.blogspot.com. Its from the perspective of a husband who has lost his wife to edward cullen. This is a really funny blog...I was laughing out loud last night...but I was also laughing because some of the things he says sound like me and Joey. He HATES Twilight. Check it out if you are a fan.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week!

  1. That's hilarious about husband's hating Twilight...Every Husband I know who has "lost" their wife/girlfriend to Twilight says the same things!! Joe HATED when I was sucked into reading those books!! I can't believe you read them again already...I'm planning on reading them again this summer...great for beach or lake reads!!

good luck on your boards and finding a house!
