pimp my ride

So...we had a great weekend! First, Josie came back from Minnesota! I missed him so so much! His flight got majorly delayed, and I thought I was going to punch Delta Airline and the Atlanta airport at times, but they did get my husband home safe (and late). He was exhausted and we slept really late on Saturday. So when we gets up, he wants to go eat lunch and...BUY ME A NEW CAR!
This is my beautiful new car. Meet the Acura MDX.

So me and Joey spent the rest of the weekend trying to figure out the "computer" that is my car. She is so smart: she's linked to my cell phone and she has navigation that tells me where I need to go.
I am a happy girl.

Next, have you ever heard of the Neilson ratings? Well we got a survey in the mail a month ago, and they sent $2 with it. So I sent that sucker back for the $2. I love free money. Well we get another envelope from them, and they want us to fill out this TV diary for a week. And they sent $30 bones with it! 30 BONES! Can you believe it? I love free money when it's $2, but i really love free money when its $30.

Last, Baby Pattie is a girl. This is great news to us...as I love to buy pink stuff. Congrats to Zach and Tara, our very best friends, for popping out the first child in our friend group. Who will be next? Lane and Johna? Tyler and Carly? Joey and Kristin? (the last one is pretty unlikely).

Have a blessed week.
And PS, just a shout-out for my husband: You are amazing. You buy me the car of my dreams. And when you left for a week, our house was dirty. Who knew you cleaned up as much as you did? I love you and appreciate you more than you will ever know. And I thank God every.single.day for you!

top ten

Top 10 things I am thankful for on this beautiful Wednesday:

1. My amazing husband, who provides so much for our family. And he makes me laugh...often.
2. A fun girls trip to the beach last weekend. Liz's bachelorette party. So much fun!!
3. Coming back from the beach with a tan. (and moistorizer to prevent peeling)
4. That my forgiveness post was taken the way it was suppose to be taken...i didn't want to ruffle too many feathers.
5. The fact that I am so close with my husband's best friends' wives (does that make sense?) Carly, Tara, and Johna, ya'll are great.
6. We are shopping for a new car! Finally!!
7. That I am still going to the gym. And actually kinda liking it. And sorta seeing results.
8. That Eclipse and Sex and the City 2 are so close...my two obsessions.
9. God is constantly putting the most amazing people in my life that truely accept me and challenge me to be a better person, everyday. (And those lovely Phi Mu ladies that are always a constant in my life.)
10. The new Knocking Live app on my Iphone. Technology these days!

And a few to grow on...
11. I am getting to re-connect with some old friends via blogging.
12. Diet Coke. Never lets me down.

Forgiveness?

What does forgivenss mean to you?
I was listening to the radio people this morning talk about Tiger Woods at the Masters. They were wondering if he got boo'd for his first day. Now, I know that adultery is wrong and it is a sin, but should Tiger get boo'd at a sporting event for this? An event where he is questionably the best player ever? I really don't think so.

This is what someone felt the need to display at the Masters yesterday. How do you feel about this?

If Elin, Tiger's wife, can seem to be dealing with this (and attempting to stand by him), why do we have to crucify him in all aspects of his life. Yes, he made several mistakes. Yes, he definately should not have done what he did. But who are we to judge him? Who are we to even mention "should he be playing in the Masters?" We are all sinners. Is it possible to make a (big) mistake and ever be able to move on with your life?
I think it is possible. With lots of prayer and forgiveness.
But that's just me.

Sorry for this random rant, that just got to me this morning. And no, I don't know anything about golf, or do I really care about golf. But he should be able to play his sport without everyone constantly discussing his personal life.

side note: if Joey were to ever cheat on me (and he never would), I would come at him with a golf club too.

Have a great weekend. Expect a massive picture post soon!

Team Edward.

The first Eclipse poster. There are no words. It has begun again.
(notice the countdown at the bottom of my blog, this is no laughing matter)
