Look mom...

Look who found his hands...

This guy! (insert Jim Halpert response here...you've seen that Office episode, right?)

I could just eat that face up! He is learning so much everyday! I just love him so much!

We are still sleeping through the night, from 9:30-6:30ish and most days I have to wake him up. We are so happy about this. But in the back of my mind, I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop... Like he will regress back to waking up. I'm sure it will happen sometime (with teething, growth spurt, illness, etc)

Countdown to back to work: 1 week
Countdown to part time: ask Joey Lindley. It IS happening.

melts my heart

Look who's smiling these days....

This one is my absolute favorite!
It will be plastered all over my house!

I like sitting on my Papa Frank!
That smile just makes my heart melt. And he is starting to smile at everyone else, but he REALLY smiles big for me. I can't say I don't love that.
He has developed such a fun personality. He lays on his mat and does his silent laugh and stares at himself in the mirror. Such a fun thing to watch.

Look what else we do on our mat...

We are rolling over, tummy to back!
At first, I thought it was a fluke. But we've been doing it every day for a week now, so it must be intentional.

Look at the determination on my sweet boy's face...he is really wanting to get on that back. (probably to avoid the dreaded tummy time)
He is 10 weeks old in these pictures. Where has the time gone?

Hudson Lindley,
I continue to be amazed by you. You are my everything, and I love every second of being your mommy!

john franklin

Last Sunday, we got together and celebrated one of my best friends.
Sweet Amy Grace is having a baby boy!!
John Franklin Warren will be here on January 31st

Amy Grace is my sorority little sis and we were immediate best friends...she is such a precious person!

Look at that cute preggie!

The sweet hostesses
Anna, Elizabeth, preg, and me
(not pictured: Casey, she was dodging the camera all day)

Had to get some time with that belly!

Amy's precious momma and her sister Casey

John Franklin got lots of great things!
Look at that monogrammed gown...He is going to be dressed to the nines!

Amy is so excited about that frame to match her nursery

And her friend painted this for the nursery...very talented!

We are so excited for Amy and JD! They are going to make wonderful parents.
And Hudson is super excited to meet his friend John Franklin in January!

Me and Grace have breakfast about once a month to catch up...since I was pregnant and had Hudson and she got pregnant, our topics have become very baby related.
I can't wait to bring the kiddos into this tradition.

Love you Gracie!

flashback

Flashback to Hudson's newborn photos...
He was so little then. Still is little now, but is growing.
Makes my heart confused: I want him to thrive and be a big boy, but part of me wants him to stay this little forever.

I loooove my photographer, Beth Morgan. She is fabulous-so! And I can't wait for her to capture our sweet family throughout Hudson's first year!

He looks like a tiny angel here...bless his bones!

That blonde hair is the sweetest thing.

Of course, the bowtie shot...I love this!

Aren't these pictures the bomb.com? (did I really just say that?)
Well they are!

If you are looking for a photographer for any of your life events, you should check her out...

Until our next session, I will just have to swoon over these and get all of them framed in my house. Yes, now that this angel is born, our house will be Hudson covered....we are those obnoxious people now.

"meet hudson"

Happy December.
While I am happy that Christmas is around the corner, I am not so happy about December.
For at the end of December, I go back to work. Yes, the dreaded work.

More on that later. I get all emotional when I think about it.

Today, I decided to share Hudson's birth announcement.
I am especially proud of it because I helped design it. And because it features the cutest little boy ever!

So there it is. And a preview of his newborn shots...which I plan to scan in this weekend.
They are super cute.
