fish are friends...

Find Nemo was on the other night.
I loooove this movie.

But, how is it that I know every word to this movie?
I did some research on this, and it came out in 2003. I was in college in 2003, not in first grade. There should would not be any way that I would know every word...I can even sing the songs. Really?
So I am trying to imagine in between the swaps, rush parties, class and stuffing my face- me sneaking away to watch Nemo. Numerous times. Kinda sounds weird and creepy.

But it does have a great message, and I plan on purchasing a new copy for Hudson very soon!

it's in the water

Pregnancy is in the water these days...and another one of my BFFs just took a dip.

Our couple friends, Tyler and Carly Shandy are having a baby!
Due December 25th, 2011
Merry Christmas to them!

She is around 3 months, and we are so excited for them.
And Hudson Lindley is excited to have another playmate.

Please keep all these fabulous babies in your prayers!

Speaking of fabulous babies, Hudson is the size of an ear of corn.
Corn cobb baby. Ha!
And Kiki finally got to feel him. We were starting to get worried he didn't like his Kiki, even strangers have felt this baby kick. But no fear, he came through on Sunday night. Turns out she is never around on his normal soccer playing schedule (30ish minutes after I eat and after 8pm)

Lately, all is well in the Lindley world.
We are heading to Mccomb this weekend to shower Lane and Lacey on their upcoming wedding.
And Hudson's bedding comes in today. We got it made in Mobile, AL and its on its way to us!! This nursery is just coming along perfectly!

Have a great week and happy Father's day!

I never thought the day would come...

I never thought the day would come....when I would BREAK a zipper trying to fit into a dress.

Yes, the dress is a "regular" (non-maternity) dress and it is a size zero (that I could wear two weeks ago), but at 22 weeks pregnant I have officially crossed over to the other side.
The other side meaning:
"No Kristin, you can not squeeze your chubbiness into most of your "regular" dresses. It just isn't going to happen, so don't even try!"
And listening to your husband fumble his way through why he thinks you should put the dress away until next summer (aka, when you are not chubby), added even more humor to this event. Bless him, he tried as hard as he could to be nice about it.

So when you are laying by the pool this weekend and thinking about how you need to lose those extra 2-3 pounds, just remember that you didn't break the zipper on your dress.

Happy Saturday!

Really?

Huggies blue jean diapers. Really?

I'm sorry, but I have a problem with these.
And I have a problem with their slogan, "I pooh in blue" Really? That is just crossing the line.

First, I think jeans are cute on babies...mobile babies, babies on the go, babies that can actually stand.
I really don't want Baby Hudson wearing real denium before the age of one. I want him to have sweet outfits and clothes. He has the rest of his life to wear jeans. But I know that my baby will not wear denium diapers.
And that is the bottom line.

And to take it a step further, what is the real point of them? We all know its a diaper...the jig is up. And you definitely aren't fooling anyone. I mean, if you wanted to throw a t-shirt on and go (faux pants, if you will)...I guess thats your prerogative. But we still know your child doesn't have pants on.

That is all. Have a good day.
