Top 10 things I am thankful for on this beautiful Wednesday:

1. My amazing husband, who provides so much for our family. And he makes me laugh...often.
2. A fun girls trip to the beach last weekend. Liz's bachelorette party. So much fun!!
3. Coming back from the beach with a tan. (and moistorizer to prevent peeling)
4. That my forgiveness post was taken the way it was suppose to be taken...i didn't want to ruffle too many feathers.
5. The fact that I am so close with my husband's best friends' wives (does that make sense?) Carly, Tara, and Johna, ya'll are great.
6. We are shopping for a new car! Finally!!
7. That I am still going to the gym. And actually kinda liking it. And sorta seeing results.
8. That Eclipse and Sex and the City 2 are so close...my two obsessions.
9. God is constantly putting the most amazing people in my life that truely accept me and challenge me to be a better person, everyday. (And those lovely Phi Mu ladies that are always a constant in my life.)
10. The new Knocking Live app on my Iphone. Technology these days!

And a few to grow on...
11. I am getting to re-connect with some old friends via blogging.
12. Diet Coke. Never lets me down.
13. The new PieWorks in Madison. Best pizza and breadsticks ever!

Forgiveness?

What does forgivenss mean to you?

I was listening to the radio people this morning talk about Tiger Woods at the Masters. They were wondering if he got boo'd for his first day. Now, I know that adultery is wrong and it is a sin, but should Tiger get boo'd at a sporting event for this? An event where he is questionably the best player ever? I really don't think so.

This is what someone felt the need to display at the Masters yesterday. How do you feel about this?

If Elin, Tiger's wife, can seem to be dealing with this (and attempting to stand by him), why do we have to crucify him in all aspects of his life. Yes, he made several mistakes. Yes, he definately should not have done what he did. But who are we to judge him? Who are we to even mention "should he be playing in the Masters?" We are all sinners. Is it possible to make a (big) mistake and ever be able to move on with your life?

I think it is possible. With lots of prayer and forgiveness.

But that's just me.

Sorry for this random rant, that just got to me this morning. And no, I don't know anything about golf, or do I really care about golf. But he should be able to play his sport without everyone constantly discussing his personal life.

side note: if Joey were to ever cheat on me (and he never would), I would come at him with a golf club too.

In mourning

I am in mourning...mourning the loss of spring break in my life. For the past 15 years, I have had some type of spring break (and 7 collegiate SBs). Since I am fairly new to the working world, this has been a hard pill to swollow. Spring break was always the time to re-group and let loose. And one year, I even grabbed a husband on spring break. We got married on SB 2008. Fun times. Anyways, that time in my life is over. And I might be ok with it...

Second, I am also in mourning about the loss of my Uggs.

These pretty puppies. Now that spring is on its way, these will have to go into hibernation until winter. I love my Uggs. Love them! They were a staple this winter with my skinny jeans. But you did NOT see my wearing them with a demin skirt and tights (I'm sorry people, but I hate this look). So, goodbye little Uggies. Sleep tight. See you in 8-9 months.

Last, since we are talking about spring break and such, I would also like to add that we have almost been out of college as long as we were there. Meaning I graduated in 2006 and it is 4 years later! Yikes!!! Where has the time gone? PT school? Yes! Marriage? Yes! Do you still think they remember our pledge class at the Phi Mu house? No! We are has beens.
